Packing for Lucas and Iris includes a lot more and they obviously need more entertainment than what Roo does! So, this post is a little more full on with exciting things, practical things and things that are perfect for a little boy aged around 4/5!
Lucas has his trunki and a swim style bag for his bits and bobs for easy access and for his snacks and things during the day at Disney!
We're currently on our way to Disneyland as you're reading this and I am currently so excited I could Wee! haha.
BITS AND BOBS BAG!
BAG: STUDIO - Not the same one but similar (This also includes the water bottle)
PYJAMAS: Primark
HEADPHONES: Amazon
CAMERA: Amazon
TABLET: Amazon
AUTOGRAPH BOOK: Ebay
TABLET: Amazon
AUTOGRAPH BOOK: Ebay
Lucas is utterly obsessed with cameras so he's going to love taking his own Disney photos! This one is so good as its waterproof and if he drops it, its protected!
I will be downloading some programmes and films from Netflix onto his tablet for the journey and I have downloaded some games that he adores and they're educational too and I wanted some cute headphones for them both so they could watch without annoying everyone else on the train or plane!
I have also purchased a power bank as Lucas' tablet runs out of battery really quickly and I want to make sure he gets a good amount of use out of it and doesn't get bored!
This bits and bobs bag will be the bag that is easy access for them for the plane. It will have snacks in, i'll sort out water in the bottles when we have checked in and as we'll be landing at 7pm in Paris, we'll get them changed on the flight into their Disney pyjamas! Flights are boring for littles, especially when they have a 2 hour train journey prior too so I want to make sure they're occupied.
I have also got them the personalised autograph book because last time Lucas loved collecting autographs from the characters, so this time it's a nice thing for them both to have and they can collect them and keep this book for memories forever.
Dressing them for Disney includes costumes and Lucas has quite a few to bring with us!
What I have found is costumes online for boys are utter rubbish! It's constantly Superheroes, Star wars and pirates, it's so annoying! Lucas is your stereotypical boy and loves cars, toy story and also likes the princesses, his favourite is Rapunzel but if you said to him "do you want to dress as Rapunzel" he'd say No. He also doesn't watch Marvel or Star Wars yet, we think he's too young for it, so he only knows Spider-man through my Mum's obsession with it.
So shopping for him was difficult!
TRAVELLING TO THE AIRPORT COSTUME - LIGHTNING MCQUEEN:
We're staying at Santa Fe this time as Lucas is a huge Cars fan so travelling to the airport and getting on that plane dressed as Lightning McQueen will make him soooooo excited!!!
COSTUME ONE: BUZZ
He's desperate to meet Buzz this time as he's never met him before and he LOVES Buzz! It will be so lovely for him to meet Buzz in his costume too.COSTUME TWO: WOODY
Iris has a Jessie costume and Roo has Rex and I am literally melting already at the photo opportunity for this!! EEEEEK! How stinking cute.
COSTUME THREE: DASH
Lucas is a HUGE incredibles fan! He'll be so excited to wear this and Iris does have a Violet costume too and if he choses to wear that it'll be so cute!EXTRA COSTUME: STITCH
This will be a costume for those cold nights and for if Lucas gets cold in the day! He's also excited to wear this to stitch live!
CLOTHES FOR IN DISNEYLAND
Of course i'll be packing pants and socks but I wont bore you with those!
Outfit wise underneath the costumes I have packed some jeans, some jogging bottoms and some tops and a Mickey top and a Mickey Jumper all old from next!
Then I will be packing Lucas' waterproof trousers and he'll wear his thick waterproof puffer jacket as it's meant to be a bit rainy but i've also packed him his new rain mac from River island and his matching outfit to Roo for our final day!
RAIN MAC: River Island at VERY
DUNGAREES: NEXT
JUMPER: NEXT
MICKEY HAT: Ali Express
I've also got Lucas' monochrome bobble hat incase it's cold packed and I will pack their wellies just in case as well as their normal shoes. If it rains, it wont stop us! They also have cute Elsa brollies I picked up too!!
I hope this has helped you with what to pack for Disneyland Paris for a little boy! We're currently on en route when you're reading this and keep an eye out for Iris' pack with me too!
