Last week we headed to the Graco event and it was so much fun. I took my hubby-to-be to work and it really nice to show him what I do for a "job". What I do when I go to work and see how much the kids love attending events.
Going to events is something I really enjoy. They're great for networking, meeting new people and finding new people to follow too. With blogging you feel like you know someone - You feel like they're already your friends with them. Blogging events mean you finally get to put a face to a name and a name to an instagram/blog name too.
Baby bootcamp was lovely. Lucas played around taking selfies, Iris tested out the swing (she's far too big for it) and I fell in love with a pram whilst doing the pram assault course.
Lucas also ate his body weight in croissants and I'm surprised he wasn't sick.
The baby bootcamp showed me new products that I hadn't seen before. There were talks with Graco know-it-alls and you learnt new things. I also now wish that I had seen the swing when I was pregnant with Iris. It may have saved my sanity, a work out on my legs and saved money on a glorified baby pillow. It was amazing and it had a carseat style handle meaning you could safely carry it around the house! Like seriously every Mum, Dad and grandparent needs one of these.
Something i've learnt from these events is to go out of my comfort zone and to say yes and go and meet new people.
I got to meet the lovely Jess Avey, Sarah - This Mama Life, Emily Peacock, Run Jump Scrap and got to see Hannah - Budding Smiles again.
The team behind planning the event were absolutely delightful and lovely too.
We had so much fun!
