Move over starbucks
Ingredients:
- ¼ teaspoon of ginger
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- ¼ teaspoon of allspice
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
- 3 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon coffee
- Half a mug of milk (warmed in a microwave or in a pan)
- Half a mug of boiled water (for coffee)
Method:
- Cut up Pumpkin and scoop out pulp.
- Cut Pumpkin into squared chunks and put into a pan.
- Add hot water and boil the pumpkin chunks, until soft.
- Puree pumpkin in a blender and blitz.
- Whilst pureeing, mix up spices in a bowl.
- Put pumpkin into a mug.
- Put mix into a mug and add coffee and sugar and mix together.(I’ve double the amount to make two)
- Heat milk in microwave or on a hob in a pan and boil the kettle.
- Add boiled water and hot milk and stir.
- Serve it and enjoy! Starbucks has nothing on homemade.
Autumnal Goodness!! I made pumpkin pie and a pumpkin and cinnamon dish for Lucas’ dinner as well with the pumpkin. Lots of yummy dishes. You could also use pumpkin in a can/tin as well for less hassle. I just used this pumpkin as I was already making a pumpkin pie!
