FIVE THINGS I'D GIFT A NEW MUM | AD

*This blog post features Bloom Magic flowers and is part of a paid collaboration with Bloom Magic, all words and images are my own with Bloom Magic. All other featured items are not being paid for to be featured and are items I like and wanted to include.*

After having a baby everyone gifts the baby, which is blooming lovely, don't get me wrong BUT poor Mum sometimes gets forgotten. She's just pushed a watermelon out a very small space or been sliced open and is now not sleeping very well and either has to make a bottle every few hours or have her nips chewed off. I have been thinking about things we could gift to new Mum's.

GIFTS!

1. BLOOM MAGIC FLOWERS

Everyone loves flowers right? I know I do. I LOVE fresh flowers in the house but settle for faux ones on the dining table so I have some all year round but I really do love the smell of fresh flowers when you walk in the room, the way they look on the side when you walk in the house. Nothing beats fresh flowers, especially when they arrive at your door. Bloom Magic delivered straight to their door, you pick the bunch online and send them straight to them. They come in a big cardboard box, and the flowers are packaged really nicely inside and make a really nice gift.

The flowers arrive already in a bouquet so they look lovely from the moment they arrive unlike letterbox flowers that you need to put together yourself. They come with flower food and are easily arranged as they're basically perfect already.
They are priced from £26 upwards depending on the size and collection you buy from. Mine are from the London range and are the Oxford!

Bloom Magic are kindly giving away one bouquet of the Oxford, just like mine photographed below. Enter HERE on instagram! It's really easy.

2. SILK PYJAMAS

There is absolutely nothing better than new pyjamas after birth! I always purchase new pyjamas for my hospital bag because after that post-birth shower I just want to climb into new pyjamas and feel the softness. Silk pyjamas are also a really nice feeling pyjama for a treat. They're also easy breastfeeding accessible if they need to be. You could easily get some cheaper but I loved the colours and stripes on these ones from Matalan for £16!

3. SPACEMASKS

Something we know that new Mum's are lacking is sleep but even with broken sleep, help them get a better night sleep in the meantime. These spacemasks are self heating eyemasks have an aroma of jasmine and help soothe you after a stressful day and help to get a better night sleep. They can help with insomnia, stress, anxiety and for a new Mum struggling to get shut eye as they stare into the cot at their new baby, these would be a lovely treat for them.  a pack of 5 is £15.

4. AFTERNOON TEA AT HOME

Another thing that new Mum's will be lacking in, in the early days is days out. They'll be recovering, exhausted and will have a new baby attached to them, so when they can't go out for a treat, bring the treat to them. This Afternoon tea at home is super cute and something i'd appreciate so much in the early days. This gift set comes with english breakfast tea, shortbread biscuits, butterscotch crunch biscuts, chocolates, strawberry preserve if you fancied grabbing some scones for them too. This is a really lovely little gift-set at £25 but of course you could make up your own little box with the same idea in mind.

5. THE PAMPER BOX - LETTERBOX GIFT SET

I LOVE a pamper set, when i'm exhausted, achy and sore a pamper evening is top of my list, self care is so important. This letterbox style gift set from Not on the high street can be personalised too and posted straight to your friend and you never have to worry about them not being home for delivery.
This set includes Chocolates, Himalayan bath salts, which are PERFECT for soothing that postpartum body, a body oil scented with lavender and chamomile, which will help Mum relax after her bath and soothe her body even more, also making her skin feel a million dollars, a candle from the natural candle company which is called 'Relaxation' and some moisturising bath truffles to melt in the bath. This gives Dad the chance for some Daddy/baby bonding time and Mum gets an hour to herself!

I hope these give you some great ideas and some that you can easily adapt to be cheaper too if you made your own gift sets! Don't forget to gift that new Mum too!

Enter the giveaway on Instagram to be in with the chance to win your own bouquet of bloom magic flowers! Trust me when I say they're beautiful.
