Iris is now 5 months old and is just about cutting a tooth. She's also a breastfed baby so during feeds I can take a serious beating. She pinches and pulls at my breast and in all honesty it's absolutely agonising at times but because breastfeeding her is amazing, I'll suck it up and deal with it.
When I discovered these teething necklaces I just had to have one and it is by far the best thing I have got in a long time.
Iris is also slowly and surely about to cut her first tooth. We can see the tiny little bit of white, she's dribbling, chewing everything and in all honesty i'm a little scared. Scared for my boobs and for my fingers. This being said during a cuddle she loves to chew this, especially as she's at the stage where she is experimenting with grabbing and using her hands. It's really rather sweet, but dangerous for me, Brad and her poor big brother who gets absolutely brutally attacked on a daily basis! I'm sure it's all in the name of love. Anyway, this has been a saviour.
We chose the gorgeous marble and pastel rainbow one which you can buy! I love ours and because Iris is our rainbow baby I wanted the rainbow one and who doesn't love marble too? I adore it and it is absolutely lovely and I love wearing it, it doesn't feel like I have a teething necklace around my neck and it feels nice to wear too. It's not heavy either which is nice. I also expected it to be a hard solid plastic but it's not, it's a lovely rubbery material. I'm not sure why I expected it to be hard as actually that would be horrible.
