Dear little Lucas,
today is November 30th and we're putting up the tree a day early, we usually put it up on 1st December but daddy is working all day tomorrow and we wouldn't dream of doing it without him and having a festive day of christmas music, dancing and decorating.
the house looks so cute and christmassy.
It's so nice having a house this year, its so spacious and so many places to hang things and my favourite things are hanging the stockings on the fireplace and putting the reef on the front door!
Both of those we'll put up tomorrow once we've purchased command strips!
You're elf on the shelf turned up today, santa sent him all the way from the north pole. After travelling through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops and then through this special elf door, Buddy the elf turned up! He's going to watch you every night and then when you go to bed he's going to tell Santa, whether you've been good or naughty in the day. I'm 99% sure he's going to tell Santa you're good boy. All you need to do is listen to mummy and daddy, pick up your toys, don't touch things you're not allowed to, and listen when mummy and daddy say no. You're pretty good at those things anyway!
Our other decorations include, this santa from "The little white company" the children version of the white company, a 2013 Mickey and Minnie snow globe from the disney store, which you've yelled "Biddy" at all day, a nutcracker from "Macy's new york" and two photos from last christmas framed.
We also made this tree topper together, you put the eyes on, you put the wings on (upside down) and chose where her star was going to go. It's tacky, it's cheap (99p from card factory) but because i was in between jobs, we couldn't afford the disney topper we really want this year, so we'll get that next year and this year, we'll going for cutesie and homemade!
We've had such a lovely day, we vlogged again, we laughed, we danced, we sang and it was the loveliest family day and it's been the best. Im so thankful for everything we have as a family, and I'm so thankful to have you smiley boy!
